Leslie is one of those rare people you read about in fairytales. She exudes positivity while also tackling every task with precision, thoughtfulness, and optimistic ferocity.

When we brought in Leslie to help us build a pop-up medical tent (in the middle of a crowded carnival that took place in the heart of Skid Row) our expectations were that if we could affect and help a few hundred people that it would be a success. A few months later Leslie had put together a team of over 120 medical professionals and built a pop-up hospital that in one day balmed the ailing hearts and feet of over 800 people. We are forever in debt to her fearless service and can’t wait to work with her again.

Leslie Jordan represented Wesley Health Centers at our Weingart Center on Skid Row in Los Angeles, and worked with the Department of Health Services to construct a fifty-bed residency program, two medical exam rooms and nine behavioral health counseling rooms. She collaborated with our facilities, security and housekeeping teams, aligned these three agencies around the project’s desired outcomes, and determined any gaps or overlap in responsibility.
