By converting a previously unused suite of classrooms at their local middle school into a pediatric and family medical clinic, Wesley Health Centers created a paradigm-shifting solution to the challenges faced by busy area families with limited access to health care. Championed by then Los Angeles City Supervisor Don Knabe and built in collaboration with the Lynwood School District and Supervisors office, the clinic integrates wellness education and access to preventative care into the regular school day, making the age-old aspiration of a sound mind in a sound body a reality for every student.

Project size | 2,400 square feet
